Breastfeeding helps increase child health, yet significant barriers exist that threaten mothers’ ability to optimally breastfeed.

To address this, it is important to gain a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of these mothers. Philips, supported by research agency Dr. Monk, conducted an exploratory investigation in Ghana and Kenya. From these insights we and our partners are able to develop innovations to empower mothers to continue breastfeeding.
